Silica Fireproof Cloth

Silica Cloth has more than 96% silica with excellent break strength and improved abrasion resistance and has been specially developed for use in high temperature applications. Pure silica fiber can withstand a continuous temperature of 900°C  and temporal heat up to 1400°C, without undergoing dimensional changes, even in the event of thermal shock, and has a very low thermal conductivity. It also has good chemical resistance, especially to acids. Silica cloth is effective in applications such as welding screens, personal protection shields, equipment protection, and stress relieving pads.  Silica products are particularly valued in aeronautics and aerospace for their exceptional dielectric properties. It is also effective in filtering molten metals, which is why it is used in high temperature dust collection filters. This product is available in widths of 860, 920, 1000 and 1500mm.
